Leslie Green is a native Brooklyn, New Yorker. Playwright, Author, Jewelry maker, Community Activist, Chaplain now Minister. Growing up Leslie endured bullying, rapes, drug addiction, physical and mental abuse. In her personal memiors she shares intimate details of various situations she'd encountered. From being born an asthmatic, drug-addicted parents and living in a poverty-stricken household, she had to overcome many hurdles. She's often quotes that is a wonder that she didn't lose her mind or kill someone by now. Her lifestyle experiences lead her on a spiritual journey that freed her from destruction. Growing up was a chore however there were some fascinating times like going to live shows, meeting stars like Gladys Knight & the pips, James Brown, Joe Tex,  Jackie Wilson and many more. This opened up her appetite for the arts. Never in a million years she thought she would be a playwright. Her fantasy was to become an actor and a writer. She often daydreamed about making jewelry and helping out her community. Although she came through many obstacles she pursued those dreams that was deeply embedded inside of her. And as it turned out she is all of what she envisioned. Her motto is: To Enlighten, Inspire and Encourage all people she come in contact with.
